Playing stimulates children’s imagination and encourages problem-solving. This causes the child’s curiosity to be great which leads to creativity, risk-taking, and discovery. During play, parents and caregivers must enrich the environment with objects that provide learning opportunities for children. When children play, adults can also comment on what they find, ask questions or help children explore the game in new ways.
