Guidance and counseling teachers are counselors for male teachers or male experts, women who receive special education in Guidance and Counseling in universities and devote all their time to Guidance services, and provide guidance services to students and establish consultancies for school staff and parents.

Counseling is a process in which someone who has difficulty (client) is helped to feel and then act in a way that is more satisfying to him, through interaction with someone who is not involved, namely the counselor. Counselors provide information and reactions to encourage clients to develop behaviors to deal more effectively with themselves and the environment.
There are several qualifications and competence in guidance and counseling teachers. The qualifications and competencies of being a teacher are an important requirement to show that professional work has a certain scientific and theoretical basis. Academic qualifications are obtained through a long process of education and preparation carried out through continuous selection.
Guidance is the process of providing assistance carried out by people who are experts to one or several individuals, both children, adolescents, and adults; so that people who are guided can develop their abilities themselves and independently; by utilizing the strengths of individuals and the means available and can be developed; based on applicable norms .
One day, the researchers try to see how the role of Guidance and Counseling teachers in overcoming problems in learning difficulties. This method aims to obtain information about the current situation and see the relationship between the variables that exist. This study does not test the hypothesis, but only describes the information as it is in accordance with the variables studied.
